I'll post more pictures this weekend, but first a story. Many years ago a young girl came into breakfast to her entire family talking about the earthquake the night before. She had slept through it. About 20 years later that same girl sleeps through her first Chilean earthquake. When I got into work today a friend asked me if I handled my first earthquake (on the 23rd floor none the less). My response was, "There was an earthquake?! I think I woke up around 5:30 for something ..."
Its nice to know that the more things change the more they remain the same.
For interested parties, it was a 4.8 centered in Valparaiso at 5:38 am. I have been told that these are common so I suppose that being able to sleep through them will be a blessing.
