How to Dry Your Shirts

Usually I see laundry drying on racks on people's balconies. However, given that some of the apartments here are barely 400 sq ft (40 sq m) and don't always have balconies, I've been wondering how you dry clothes in a small apartment with no balcony. In general, you don't see the laundry lines running between buildings, and the occupant of this apartment in Santiago Centro came up with a solution. You just lean out your window and attach shirts by clothes pin to a piece of string you have tied to your window sill. As a note, this apartment is on the 13th or 14th floor.
